Dazed and Confused magazine,
Photography- Norbet Schoerner
Art directed by Alexander McQueen

More focusing on the image on the bottom left corner, i love how the bodies are mounted on top of one another in all the left over food. It symbolises that everything gets thrown out, everything gets used and once they finished the rest just gets thrown away.

125 magazine, shoots called 'In death release'
Photography- Jason Pietra
Prop Stylist- Juliet Murreal
Product Stylist- Thea Lewis

I find this imagery quite disturbing to look at, it's very dark and looks like it's inspired by Alexander McQueen. However, it's some what beautiful the customisation of the bones over shadows what it truly is, which is a carcass.

Another Man Magazine, Still life photography
Photography- David Hughes
Styling- David St John-James

The shoot is very much for a mans magazine, it's clean, its dynamic, it's quirky.

Photography

I know it's late on in the blog to be posting photographers work, but i found these images that i thought were fantastic still life work.

French Vogue, this image is from a feature story called 'mode le grand retour du sex-appeal'
photographers- Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot
Styling- Emmannuelle Alt

To me, the woman looks like a prop for the apple and the accessories in the image. It's simple but yet so effective.

My Development

Final Ideas Board

For my final idea i want to create a lettuce garden with snails embedded on the leaves, so this is my inspiration board. The colours are written on top of the iridescent paint. The name of my editorial is called 'Lettuce Lover'

The Magazine

For my magazine i chose 'Interview' because it's quirky, all about art, fashion music and culture. The image i saw on the front of August 2010 issue in USA, has been photo shoped and manipulated a black and white cover and added shocking colour to stand out. I want the same effect on my images when i develop them.

It's all been obvious photo shop  on the covers and i really like that, it's daring and spontaneous, i think it's more of a photographers magazine than fashion.
