China's chocolate fashion

I researched the internet to try and find some more innovative designer/artists that have created something wonderful with food, and i came across a link called china's chocolate fashion. In Shanghai designers Helen lee and Taiwan kang Yeng-Ling have created delicate chocolate clothes Designs which are edible. All the accessories, shoes and clothes are all made from white, dark and milk chocolate. 

Fashion with Food

As I've looked through S/S 2012 collections, i haven't found any food inspired pieces. So i logged on to a site called Preshley squeezed, and came across some of the most creative and innovative fashion ideas i have ever seen. They have made a dress out of veal skin, masks and body suits out of pasta, head pieces made of fish skin.

Deep Sea

S/S 2012 collection was full of designs walking down the catwalk with deep sea inspired clothing. Stella McCartney, Versace, Armani all presented their collections as either bright and vibrant or iridescent pastel colours. here are a few of the close ups i found off a site called deep sea news.

Oscar De La Renta accessories

This collections is simply beautiful. Very eye catching, and the beading and embroidery i wonderfully done. When i look at the collection is is a mix match of ideas, but there are aspects like the snails shells encrusted with diamante and the shell like tubes of the bead to form necklaces. All relevant to my two ideas.

D&G accessories

The D&G S/S 2012 collection on accessories are perfect for my vegetable patch idea with the snails and insects. The net on the show to cover the patch and protect from birds, and the vegetable earrings, with the gold woven bag which looks like a picnic basket. I also really like the pasta earrings, gives and Italian feel to the collection, which i have looked at shells to it is relevant.

Chanel accessories

The Chanel accessories on style.com are limited and will uploads some more which i have found in my Vogue magazine, but the ones i have found are brilliant and have continued with the deep sea feel and iridescent colours.

Versace accessories

I have also browsed through the S/S 2012 collections to find relevant and inspiring accessories. Vogue magazine did an issue on the catwalk and i found images from the shows as to which designers had really creative ideas. The collections i have chosen are ones i think fit with my ideas and can develop from that.
